Non-cystic fibrosis (CF) bronchiectasis is more common than previously thought and is a significant cause of morbidity for patients. Appropriate diagnosis and treatment are key to improving outcomes and quality of life, as well as help to reduce healthcare costs. This non-CME educational event will serve to discuss, in a small roundtable format, the challenges surrounding non-CF bronchiectasis diagnosis and treatment paradigms given new European Respiratory Society Guidelines as well as key characteristics and insight from COPD gene data of those patients who would benefit from treatment.
